Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera Review- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Furrion Vision S wireless backup camera system. Obviously this is going to be a really helpful tool as a backup camera, whether we're going into a really tight parking spot at our storage lot, or at a campground where we have to back the camper in, it's going to give us better visibility and reduce blind spots. But even while we're driving down the road, it wirelessly links to a screen in your car. It's a five-inch screen that gives you pretty good visibility, and gives you real time feed and video while you're driving. So when we're going down the highway, and we wanna switch lanes or pass someone, we can be sure that we're fully past someone and we don't have to worry about misjudging the length of our camper, because we can see that car that we just passed in the backup camera here, and it's a pretty good fisheye lens so we get a wide field of view, and we can see a lot with it. more

I'm going to walk through the Furrion Vision S wireless observation system.What would be the purpose or reasons why we would want an observation system for our camper or RV Say we are towing this camper behind our SUV. We need something so that when we're backing up we don't have to have a second person back there, a spotter helping us back into a spot. And our side-marker cameras are going to allow us while we're traveling or wanting to change lanes, to see a lane, two, maybe three over so we can see what's coming up.Maybe your camper doesn't have cameras on it. A lot of the newer campers are coming out equipped with a rear camera, but they don't have side-marker cameras. The Furrion has kits that you get your back camera, or your rear view camera, along with your side view cameras, and typically they're just going to replace your factory running lights on the sides.This is what our light looks like once it's on the vehicle, it's going to come with a side-marker light. more

On the camera itself, you'll have infrared LEDs for a low light situation to ensure you get a good picture quality and there is a optical sensor just below the camera that will determine if the LEDs need to turn on or off.The mounting bracket for the camera comes included, as well as the hardware to mount the camera to the bracket. Mounted up highly like that, it's going to give us a good angle so when we do start getting closer to things like walls or doors or other obstacles we'll know we're getting close, we need to slow down, and then just listen for that assistant to tell us exactly when it is that we need to stop. It's good. Another great feature of the RVS camera system is that when you have somebody in the back guiding you into your position, and helping you out in addition to your camera, they're not going to have to yell at you all the way up in the front of the RV. There's a microphone designed right into the camera, and you can hear that audio from inside the vehicle. Something I really like about the monitor itself is that when light levels increase the monitor is going to brighten up to accommodate for that. You can see there it just went into the brighter mode. It's almost like an automatically adjusting cell phone. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Voyager 7-inch monitor and camera kit with rear and side cameras. Now the monitor is a Voyager 7-inch color LCD monitor. It is a touchscreen, has a 4-inch adjustable monitor mount here that it's mounted to, and it is fully adjustable. You can see just by loosening, it will go in any position you need it to. The buttons on the front are backlit, so they're easy to see in low-light conditions. Has a built-in audio speaker, does have four camera inputs, 15 display modes, comes with this nice sun shield that can be removed if you don't need it, and just to give you a size on this, the overall dimension, the width on the monitor is seven inches. more
